ABOUT

About Me

A stealth persona, an obsessive nature
Background brighter sharper

It's all about

An Endless Passion for ARTISTRY,
For Discovery, for CREATIVITY...

I don’t particularly like talking about myself, so I think I’ll keep this casual.

At 11 years old I started playing French Horn. I did that for 5 years, and I guess we can call that the start. It taught me a bit about the orchestra, reading music, etc, but I hated playing it. I wanted to play drums, but my band teacher wouldn’t let me. So I acted up, and he kicked me out of the high school band. Fair enough…

I spent the next two years winning art awards because I didn’t have a musical instrument to obsess over. At 17 years old I got a guitar for Christmas and I bought my first guitar amp with prize money from an art contest. It changed the course of my life.

I tried college for art and music, but it didn’t feel like the place for me. I decided I’d just play music in rock bands. International tours, endorsements, etc… It was nice, but I was always more interested in recording and composition, and a couple of consequential friends pushed me toward areas of the music industry I never could have expected!

I never made it back to college. Instead I focused independently. For decades I’ve studied orchestral scores, Pop songs, rock, metal, whatever. Anything from Britney Spears to Frank Zappa. That focus built a perfect skillset for production music library work.

For a decade I worked nearly every single day in production music. I finished nearly one piece of music per day, in any genre that I was asked for, all while taking session gigs, film score gigs, mixing gigs, mastering gigs, you name it. In the same way that I don’t usually talk about myself, I’ve also traditionally been happy to work for companies or other artists, where my name isn’t at the forefront.

Beyond the production music work, I’ve contributed music on about 30 hallmark films, and unless you’re looking at the cue sheets you’ll never know I was there. I’ve also had several primetime theme “songs”, and you’ll never see my name in the credits, nor would even you guess that it was my music.

For me, the most important thing is not me or my name recognition. It’s the music that works perfectly for the project.

I don't have ghost writers, I don't have assistants,
I will never use AI for music,
I don't use premade loops, I don't use preset packs.
If you get it from me, it's 100% authentically made for you.
